If you’ve been following my blog for a while, you probably know how much I love playing with textures. Denim, mesh, flannel & latex is certainly a new one for me though!

This super-cool latex net top is from emerging latex designer Sasha Louise. What I really love about her collections is that the pieces walk the line between typical latex/fetishwear pieces and RTW, meaning that it can actually be pretty wearable. This top is made by hand (as are all her pieces!) so it’s unique, and the quality is just gorgeous. You have to be careful taking it on and off, but that’s a kind of a given due to the nature of the piece. The latex is an easy-on latex as well so you don’t have to use talcum powder (sadly that kind of stuff is a little too high maintenance for me). Sasha is currently running a Kickstarter campaign, so if you’re a fan of this style of clothing and have some spare cash & want to support her, you can from there -you can pick up some of her beautiful accessories pieces as reward (including this halter top!).
To make the top a little more day appropriate I added a long sleeved mesh dress underneath, and then a load of softer textures - denim, flannel & velvet. Do you like to wear evening pieces in the day too? If so, how do you usually go about dressing them down?
Take care, love!xxx
