NOTD: Pearly Mint

Here's another very simple NOTD. Lately I've been all into very simple, quick manicures. I got a chip on yesterday's manicure quite fast, so it was time to do another. :)

Zoya Neely - 2 coats
I picked up a lovely, pale mint green from the swatch pile, Zoya Neely. Neely is a perfect mint for my skin tone, as it didn't give me horrible lobster claws. What I have seen from the swatches this one seems to be universally flattering shade for every skin tone. Do correct me if you feel Neely didn't suit you. ;) Two coats were enough for perfect opacity, I did find the first coat was a bit streaky but the polish leveled nicely.

To spice things up I went for pearl halves. I haven't been using nail art supplies for AGES, so it seemed suitable and enough to make the manicure pop. On the pics the pearls look bronze, but they are very lovely, warm taupe/beige. The application was same as always, I dotted some Seche Vite on the nails after the base coat was dry, then popped the pearls on.

These nails are going with me (duh, naturally) to a client meeting tomorrow, let's hope mint brings some luck for me! :)
