A New Exploration

Not your average post but I am way too excited to share about this. As I mentioned yesterday I received my new camera yesterday. Almost since the beginning of my blog I have been using the Olympus PEN EPL-1 that I got as a gift for graduating university from my parents. It was my first camera love and my first semi-professional camera. Since then the Pen Generation family has extended tremendously, the latest version is now 7. While I heavily debated which upgrade I wanted it came down to the EPL-7 and the EP-5 and ultimately I decided on the EP-5. So today I decided to take my new baby out for a test drive. I would never consider myself a photography but I have always had an interested eye in the form, just never the patience to learn all the skills and vocabulary. I probably still won't learn all I need to know but with my new baby I hope to expand my knowledge at least to the basics. Here are some shots I captured today:
