Reitmans #DenimLoveStories

I am always interested in finding the perfect jeans, so when Reitmans approached me to work on their latest campaign #DenimLoveStories I couldn’t resist. Reitmans has revamped their denim lines and their denim offering. This gives Canadian women access to on trend washes, colours and styles. Nothing is easier then wearing denim but nothing is harder then finding the RIGHT pair. Real jeans for real women. I live in jeans, they are comfortable and versatile. Working with Retimans gave me the opportunity to explore and try on many great jeans (plus they have some Tall options, PLEASE offer more). My assignment was to select 3 pairs of jeans and style them. Each look is inspired by one of my favourite cities. Which is your favourite look?

The London Look

Grey is officially London’s neutral colour (in my opinion) and I couldn’t resist this pretty light grey that reminded me of that beautiful city. These are an ankle length jean and are wonderful to transition from Winter to Spring. Londoners dress with a certain edge so I decided to take a very monochromatic look and give it a London edge with these Reitmans grey ankle jeans. The silhouette is minimalistic but there are several different complimentary shades of grey that make it interesting without trying too hard.

Pretty in Paris

Pastels are still a big trend this summer (I think this makes it three years in a row) therefore I needed to style these pastel pink ankle jeans. These jeans remind me of spring, warmth and the City of Love, Paris. They also made me forget the deep freeze that Toronto (and the rest of Ontario) is in. This denim has a good weight to it and is a mid-rise. I like a thicker denim when it comes to light colours, it leaves a nicer silhouette.

Tdot (Toronto)

My city is relaxed, urban and home. It plays double duty and so do these Reitmans boyfriend jeans with a drawstring. They are comfortable and on trend and I absolutely love them – they have a DRAWSTRING! I was eyeing a pair that were 4 times more expensive but these wear better. My wallet is still thanking me. Wear them when running errands and then add heels, necklace and a blazer and go out with your partner or some friends. Home is versatile and so are these jeans.
