If you deem the look on my face in the photos above as “painstaken,” it might be because of the “freezing rain.” Though almost poetic in sound, I’d rather not have seen these two words in the weather app for yesterday’s forecast. As you may or may not know, Lisa and I are still on the hunt for an apartment, and walking around to take a look at different ones in this kind of weather is rather unpleasant. Then again the market is pretty good right now, so I guess I shouldn’t complain. No wonder the market is good. Who else is so desperate to move, to make moves under such circumstances. Be it as it may, I tried to brace myself with layering of knits to stay warm, and topped it off with my rain coat, to keep the wet out. Turns out that actually worked quite well. I was also wearing a scarf and gloves, not included in the pictures above, because I thought it looked better without, but you guys should definitely not “try this at home” without any additional cold weather equipment ;)
