Review: Kushyfoot Flats To Go

PRESS SAMPLE

I recently received a pair of kushyfoot flats to go, along with the kushyfoot shaping tights and knee highs for review. My flats to go were size 9-10. I actually wear a size 8, and thought that they were not going to fit. Surprisingly, despite the size, the fit was really snug. Of course, there was room in the back, but they didn’t fall off and they weren’t difficult to walk in.

I decided to take them with me on my trip to Las Vegas where I attended a makeup skills conference hosted by international renowned makeup artist and makeup artistry educator, Buntricia Bastian. {more about that later}. They were so portable, I threw them into my handbag, using the carrying case that they came in, kicked off my knee-high boots and put them on to wear during the long flight to the west coast. They kept my feet warm and the padded sole was very comfortable to move around in during the flight when I got up for bathroom breaks, etc.

The little flats were quite useful in the hotel as well. I wore my kushyfoots when I was in the room in lieu of walking on the carpet with my bare feet. I also threw them into my purse when I went down for the conference workshops and ended up putting them on the day that we had to stand on our feet for the hands on training portion of the conference.

I tried the tights after I returned from the west coast. They have plain ones in addition to patterned ones and I tried the patterned one first. They looked great and the tights also have padded soles which cushioned and massaged the feet. My feet felt great in my boots and were not tired and achy at the end of the day despite the fact that I did a bit of walking in my boots that day.

Pros:

  • Throw them in your purse and pull them out when your feet have had enough!
  • Padded sole built into each pair offers cushioned comfort and gives your feet a little massage.
  • Comes in a plastic carrying case, fits in your handbag.
  • Great for wearing indoors.
  • Great for driving.

Cons:

  • This might not be a great option for long wear for those of us with flat feet.
  • I wouldn’t wear them outside. The soles are thin and might not be the best thing to protect your feet from sharp objects.

XoXo, Natasha
