Every summer, it’s always the same story, I falling deep into the late 60′s and early 70′s country, and I spend my days dreaming about bohemian wanderings in Joshua Tree…It’s too bad that most people only think about that annoying Eagles song when they think about 70′s Country/Folk, because they are so many hidden treasures to discover ! My favorite singer is Gram Parsons, the only one that could make the thoughest bikers cry, and who had an enormous influence on the Stones best songs in the early 70′s, like « Dead Flowers » or « Sweet Virginia ». I could never get tired of his songs, I’ll listen to them endlessly, every spring…For all my life !
