It's Monday So...

I started the post for today and just ended up tossing all kinds of randomness in...

I only have one channel on our tv memorized. 112. Can you guess what channel that is? Yep, HGTV. My husband thinks this is ridiculous but I heard on the Bobby Bones Show that Amy also only knows one channel on her tv and I now don't feel alone.

I could live on bread and cheese...no but really.

I love-love-love Compassion...please go learn more!

I attended a sweet church yesterday, that I can't wait to share more about, and we learned about how God give us "rules" not to keep us locked up behind a gate, as in a prison cell, but to allow us to walk through the gate and into beauty, as in walking into a garden. It was sweet a reminder that God gives us choices everyday but the choice to follow Him always guarantees more! Then today, in my study in Isaiah 58 I found yesterday's message intertwined.

the Lord will guide you always; He will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and He will strengthen your frame! You will be like a well watered garden like a spring whose waters never fail. Isaiah 58:11
Yall. Isn't God awesome?! He gave me a scripture with the SAME illustration of the "rules" God gives from the pastor yesterday. A garden. Gardens evoke beauty, they whisper peace, they thrive in sunshine and thirst for rain. They flourish under care of their creator. Oh how the same can be true for us! And check out that scripture again. "In a sun scorched land..." God promises to care for us in NO matter what we're going through, no matter where we find ourselves, no matter what the pain/hurt/difficulty...That's the promise He gives. I don't know about you but I want to be in that well watered garden always.

I've been around so many children in the last few days that I got a bit of the baby fever. It's still a ways off for us but anyone who knows me, even just a little bit, knows I was born a mother. I look forward to that time of our lives greatly. At the same time I am very much enjoying the present with my precious husband.

With the baby fever has brought upon the undeniable desire to be a stay-at-home mommy. Even if all we can manage is part time.

I love flowers. I could go for a fresh bouquet in my home every week. I'm thinking of going out today for another bouquet for the kitchen. We have some tulips in the bedroom right now.

Bobby Bones Show is my favorite work past time. I'm pretty sure their new on-demand full show replay is my new favorite thing. Any Bobby Bones lovers out there?!

On the country radio note, I'm liking Sam Hunt more and more. Also, please fast forward to 11:22 of this segment, LOVE IT!

Marriage is the best thing. Kevin Burns, I love you. I love being a wife. I love doing life with you.
