Fun Christmas Books for Kids

We love the classic Christmas books, but we wanted to add a little bit of fun to this year’s holiday reading. And really, you can never have too many Christmas books, right?

Disney Christmas Storybook Collection has four stories in one book and includes all of our very favoritest characters. It even includes Wreck it Ralph characters which is super duper fun.
Can You See What I See? Night Before Christmas by Walter Wick is a picture puzzle book, which is fun for everyone in the family. You’re never too old for a search and solve puzzle.
An Otis Christmas by Loren Long is just way too cute to not be included. (You know there will always be a book on each list that is there just for it’s cuteness factor…it’s just how we work here.)
Goosebumps Most Wanted: The 12 Screams of Christmas by R.L. Stine might seem like a weird choice, but we’re a little weird so we’re going to read -and love- it this holiday season.
We’re definitely getting Mad Libs Very Merry Songs and Stories because Mad Libs are just the best. And they let the reader be creative. And they encourage kids to write their own stories. And they’re just funny.
A Pirates Twelve Days of Christmas by Philip Yates includes one of our most favorite things to read about – pirates! So I think it’s going to be a silly addition to our holiday collection.

Add a little fun to your Christmas reading list, and make sure to get really crazy with the Mad Libs (interesting adjectives are always my favorite).
