5 Podcasts to Inspire Creativity

Whenever I get a chance, I am listening to podcasts. I found 5 podcasts to help inspire creativity.

True story – I keep an iPad in my bathroom purely for listening to music and podcasts. If I am in the bath or just getting ready, you will hear me listening to my favorite podcasts. It’s funny to my husband because he will hear me laughing to myself while putting my makeup on!

Here are my top 5 podcasts to inspire creativity.

StartUp

If you ever wanted to know what it was like to start your own company, this is your behind the scenes tour guide. Alex Blumberg is a former producer of This American Life (another AMAZING podcast) and he shares what it’s like to start a business from scratch. Listen to him pitch investors, raise money, and hire his partner. They are now finished with their second season, so catch up now before the next season!

Joy The Baker Podcast

This is probably the first podcast I ever listened to consistently. When I used to sit in traffic going home from the office, I would pass the time with Joy and Tracy. These two successful food bloggers chat about food, travel, and what is going in social media. They gave the real scoop on BlogHer, SnapChat, and tidbits about growing your blog authentically.

The Lively Show

This is a new one for me, but I am finding myself going back into the archives to listen to more. I can’t get over how I had not heard about this podcast before. Jess Lively interviews some of my favorite bloggers like Oh Joy, PUJ, and The Glitter Guide. She shares amazing stories about living intentionally.

Elise Gets Crafty

This one is geared toward small business owners and creatives. I got wrapped up in Elise’s first podcast because she kept it real. She knew that she wanted to start a podcast, so she just went and did it. Like, turned on her computer and started recording. I love people who just get up and do it, then learn along the way. She introduces interesting people who are willing to share their experiences.

After the Jump with Grace Bonney

If you are a fan of design, this is the podcast for you. Grace of Design*Sponge has a weekly podcast that is about the creative community and running a creative business. I love the podcasts that help with creative blocks and the tools that help to define your business.
