Fall Transitional Piece // the Midi Skirt

As the weather transitions from summer to fall, so must our wardrobes, and there are lots of really easy ways to do so. Finding staple transitional pieces is a great start and the modern, on-trend midi skirt is one such item.
It's got length, so you don't have to worry about having too much skin exposed to the autumn chill. It can be dressed down with a tank, denim jacket and flats; or dressed up with a classic, crisp white button down shirt--or a chambray top--and pumps, which would look polished for the office. You could rock a midi skirt with a light leather jacket and suede booties for a night out. And you can even still wear one with your short sleeved crop tops and open toed shoes--just carry a light sweater.
