Fairy ABC: HELP/TIPS

Now remember last time when I mentioned Fairy Abc reopening?Well it is indeed back and it is working for most people (unfortunately not for everyone but that’s why I’m here today)

However a lot of people have been having problems with it.As one of those people I’m here today to give you detailed tips and tricks to help you! :D
MY TIPS/HOW TO TACKLE YOUR GAMING PROBLEMS:
Let’s beggin from the very very basics.(Warning:This is going to be a long post,cause the problems are many and I wanted to make this thorough)
SIGNING UP/REGISTERING OR LOGING IN: I heard of a few cases where people have problems with signing up/or logging in.At first I had a problem with signing up, although I would fill out the form correctly it would say that either my email or password were invalid, which clearly wasn’t the case.Then I realized that while searching for the game I accidentally went to : http://abcpixiehollow.weebly.com/create-a-fairy.html and had created an account there first with the same email and pass .So I used those to try and log in and it WORKED! I guess the websites are connected? So check for that if you have problems registering ;) .Maybe you had an old account? Otherwise check carefully that you filled in the form correctly.If all else fails try making a new account with a different e-mail address.Same in case you have problems with logging in.
RUNING THE GAME: Now there were other people that couldn’t AT ALL run the game. According to their recent FAQ, THE GAME ONLY WORKS ON CHROMEAND FIREFOX !!! So if you you’re running it with Internet Explorer for example (in which case WHY?XD) that might be why it’s not working. Now some people might argue that this is has to do with your computer.Not going to completely disagree with that,as I have a 7 year old Acer laptop with windows 8,which is not the best for gaming.However even people with Mac computers couldn’t run it.One of them had to go to an internet café actually. So hey, if all else fails try that :P ! Or just check your Computer’s condition. Maybe you need to update your flash software for example (usually Adobe) , maybe your pc’s slowing down or it’s gotten hot or perhaps your wifi connection is poor etc Or there might even be a problem with your graphics card perhaps ,maybe it could use an update? (might as well get one for gaming if you buy a new one :P )

Now I’d just like to say that the first time the game loads you have to be VERY VERY PATIENT with it cause it will take a long time for everyone and it’s totally normal ,so don’t worry. I suggest you close any other tabs or running programs cause they might slow down the game in general.
In case the bar turns RED though you must refresh (don’t be scared it will load a lot faster now if you refresh it ) . Also when first loading the game I had to restart my computer which helped a lot actually J
SERVER SELECTION/or IF YOU CANT CLICK "PLAY" After that a screen with available servers will pop up. If you see no available servers then according to Wind Muddle (and Angie who brought me the info lol) you can just make your own don’t worry. Just go to www.fairyabc.com/server then choose a name of a server and click on “Launch”. Keep that tab open, and go to the other tab and refresh it.You will see the server you made,so click on it. The same trick also helps if you try to go on other servers,and then the “Wait a moment” (which is basically an eternity lol) screen appears and you get a “click here if you don’t see the play button message” underneath it .

That usually happens to me with servers with a lot of people in them.In that case click on the “click here if you don’t see the play button message” . If that doesn’t work after a while do the trick I mensioned above (aka make a new server) and go into that one ;)
Also Angie suggests not to ever open as a server or go to Hidden Ridge cause it's usually glitchy.Found that out for myself as well today when I hosted it as a server and it wouldnt let Angie in it ..
GOING TO A SERVER WITH MANY PEOPLE:
Personally I usually can’t go to the servers with even 3 people or above(which sucks btw). But sometimes I manage to.What I do is the following: First I refresh and try again.You might want to repeat this step a couple of times If that doesn’t work then try going into anohter server (make one with only you in it perhaps).Then refresh and try on the crowded one again.You might also want to repeat this step a couple of times. If that also fails,close any other tabs.Maybe even close and reopen your computer and repeat the previous steps.If that doesn’t work either and you really want to hang out with your friends for example then create a new server ,go in it and invite your friends to come into it after you .It should work ;)
IF YOU CANT MOVE: Sometimes after flying to a meadow,you will seem like you are seated and won’t be able to move. Resolve this problem easily by clicking on the “sit” button to actually sit, and then click on it again to stand up.You will now be able to move .
ALSO,check to see if your FRIENDS LIST is open.If it is then close it in order to move.
IF YOUR FAIRY IS BLACK AND WHITE/THE “GHOST” GLITCH:

Now one really annoying glitch I encountered was looking black and white for a while.Normally you should be able to remove that problem but going to Schelly’s shop and choosing the colour of your skin/hair/eyes wings etc. Then go to daisy’s dies to give colour to your clothes. If like me,you still looked like a “garlic breath” after that,then Wind suggested to me that I try and clear cached files, and reload chrome://settings/clearBrowserData for chrome That didn’t work for me personally (although it might help you) So I thought of running the game with FIREFOX , which actually WORKED FOR ME!!!!!!!

And I could finally see my fairy with colour!So if you’re using Chrome then DEFINETLY try Firefox,and if you are using Firefox then perhaps,Chrome might do the trick for you!
IF YOU CAN’T GO INTO THE SHOPS/”TRAVELLING TO 0”:
Now of course,after making your fairy colorful, the next step is to change her according to your liking.What happens if you can’t access the shops to do that though? For example I often have problems with that as it may give me a “Travelling to 0” screen and never load the shop :/
In that case you want to refresh.After that make sure to click on precisely on the LETTERS /TITLE of the shop,and NOT THE SIGN. Problem sloved :D
CUSTOMIZING YOUR FAIRY/SAVING THE CHANGES: I also have trouble sometimes when customizing my fairy and then wanting to save the changes,because somehow I can’t exactly click the “Get” button ,as in the cursor doesn’t change when I click it like it should.So I just click on it a bunch of times to make sure XD and then click on the map to exit the shop. However sometimes even though I did that, it would save random changes:
Like,I didn’t even know you could make your skin green lol.So I click on each item /or skin colour etc a bunch of times,then click “get” and make sure the item I choose in the list is the first in order to my left (the first item I see on the left). That usually makes the trick ;)
IF YOU CAN’T SEE YOUR FRIEND BUT YOUR FRIEND SEES YOU: Wind Muddle just posted about that on Fb actually. It will be fixed within a week.
But basically you should just refresh
Sometimes,if you try to print your fairy from your leaf journal it gets really weird,so what you want to do is click on “Print” and DON’T CLICK ON THE IMAGE THAT APPEARS. Just screenshot it and save it (and if you want to, later you can print it from your gallery)

OTHER GLITCHES :
CLONES:A lot of people get their clones when they sign in,so in that case you probably just want to refresh
0 name:If your name is 0 but your other info is right,you just want to again..refresh
Pouch: The pouch is just glitch for everybody.Just click on the map to exit
Chat: Sometimes the chat bubbles get on top of each other.Resfresh,and if that doesn’t work close any other programs and tabs.If it still continues then close and reopen you computer.
Mixed background music: The same thing that applies for the chat glitch
Moving without a reason: Sometimes when you got to a meadow you start flying without a reason.But it’s not really something to frown over.Happens sometimes,nothing big

MY IMPRESSION/OPINION OF THE GAME:Now I have been playing the game ever since the day it opened (aka since Monday the 13th of June) so I have quite a clear opinion of it.Although it is still a WORK IN PROGRESS –please take that in mind guys- and at first I, like many people encountered and still do encounter some problems with it, it is definetly MORE THAN JUST WORTH A SHOT!First of all it is incredibly acurrate and very well made for an unprofessional project like this,we can’t thank the creators enough honestly.Yes you will encounter a few glitches,but it’s well designed and very very nostalgic,it feels like flying on the Hollow again,so prepare for a package of feels in case you didn’t order any XD lol.
You can’t yet play minigames,or have your own home/garden/pixie profile and only three shops are open for now :Summit style,Daisy’s dies and Schelly’s,but it’s still so amazing to even have that,plus the game keeps on getting updated and ameliorates as it goes.(It seems like we will sonn be able to have homes though!!!!!)
So taking everything into account I give this a BIG THUMBS UP!!!!!!!Also another thumbs up for the beautiful artwork at their main page,and the fact that they even have tabs like “Never Council” (sound familiar ?)

Despite the problems though,I think we should all just take a moment to appreciate this game and the effort put in it J The people that made it are not professionals,and when they got the idea to make it they didn’t even know ANYTHING about making a game,so again guys THANK YOU and CONGRADULATIONS.
