#ablecs15 Week 5: Nature's Wonders

Oh my, I've been so busy that eventhough it's nearly end of this week, I'm just about to post my first challenge mani of week 5. Oh well, thankfully there's still one day left of this week, so I should have time to do the other challenge manicure too. But let's get this first one out first. This weeks themes are Nature's Wonders and Textured, and I decided to go with the nature theme first since I had quite clear vision for this manicure.
Nature's Wonders is quite a wide theme and I could easily come up with several different manis for this theme, but there was really this one idea that I had immediately on my mind for this theme and I just decided to go with it. Living in Finland means that we get to go through all the four seasons every year. Actually, some times it feels like there is even more seasons than those four as the weather is changing constantly, but I really love each and every one of those seasons! Of course it might sometimes feel in the middle of wet autumn or slushy winter that it would be great if we only had constant summer... And I can't really deny that I haven't ever dreamed about living somewhere where it would be warmer and the weather would be beautiful pretty much all the time... But in the end, all the changing seasons really make me appreciate the next one.
So of course I wanted to try to interpret all those four seasons on my nails: spring with soft and pastel colors, all the green just about to burst into life; summer with vivid colors, blue sky and plenty of green; fall with orange autumn colors and the warm glow; and winter with freezing sky and snow. I think I should try to plan my nails bit more before doing them as this didn't turn out exactly as the idea in my head, but I think at least you can see what I was aiming at.

I used quite a lot of polishes for these nails:
index - gradient with Essie Romper Room and Zoya Tiana, leaves with Tiana middle - gradient with Essie Lapiz Of Luxury and Essie Mojito Madness, leaves with Mojito Madness ring - gradient with China Glaze Papaya Punch and Zoya Pepper, leaves with Essie Orange It's Obvious and Zoya Pepper pinky - gradient with Zoya Blu and Essie Blanc, snow with Blanc and the tree is painted with Essie Licorice on all nails

I can't really choose my favorite season - I like them all equally. Sure, I enjoy warm and sunny summer days, but I also love snow and cold winter days. Fall is also pretty awesome with all the colors and dark nights, and who wouldn't love spring, when the sun is finally shining again and everything comes to life. There's of course plenty of thing I'm not that fond of each season and I certainly don't like the in-between-seasons when it's not fall anymore but still not proper winter either, or when it's not yet fully spring but the winter is already over... But still, seasons are really one of nature's wonders!
Which season is your favorite one?
