Polishers Inc. - Inspired by a Polish Brand

It's Polishers Inc. Sunday, yay! This time the theme was to be inspired by a polish brand and I knew immediately which brand I wanted to do. I've already done nail art inspired by my favorite mainstream brand (Zoya of course) for our Finnish(able) Nail Art Challenge, so this time I wanted to choose one indie brand for this and of course I had to go with my favorite one: Cirque Colors.

I got the whole Cirque The Awakening collection for review last month and I already shared my swatches of the collection with you, but the polishes were really screaming to be used again in some kind of nail art. I chose to use two pretties from the collection: the beautiful bird's egg color Hatch and the delicate pink shimmer Love Stone.
I wanted to keep my mani simple and do something fun and edgy but also keep it elegant at the same time. That's really how I see the Cirque brand also, so I really wanted to try to make my mani look like it.

I used two coats of Hatch first on each of my nails. I wanted to add just a little bit color with Love Stone, so I taped my nails with Vinyl It Up vinyls and did a skinny single chevron on each nail with Love Stone and then removed those vinyls. Finally I just topped the whole mani with a coat of top coat.

This was really a simple look, but I totally loved it on my nails and wore it for several days! I loooooove Hatch, it's definitely one of my favorite polishes of 2015 so far and I adore the look of it. Love Stone doesn't really fall behind at all, it's such a beautiful one too!
