A simple afternoon. This place in Gatineau reminds me of my hometown. The lake, the trees, the gravel road. I never appreciated this scenery until I moved to Ottawa. A weekend at the cottage? That is so boring, it's just lakes and trees, "What do you do?" I used to ask those that have cottages, "Stare at each other in the wilderness?". Well turned out that
my life was a giant cottage for 15 years living in Victoria, BC. I just didn't know until I moved out of it.
Now I like the serenity. It's true: you don't know what you have until it's gone. Happy long weekend!
