DIY: Statement Tote

These DIY Statement Totes are the perfect canvas to express your love for dogs, and okay, cats too. I chose to let the world know who actually runs the show at our house. Yes, Coco made me do it!

Make it as a gift for a friend, gift bag, craft storage, or even use it to shop your local farmer’s market. Heck, they are so easy and inexpensive you could make one for each!

Materials

Plain Canvas Tote

Iron-on Letters

Iron

Wet Washcloth

Tutorial

1. Lay out your letters on your tote. Double check spelling, there is no command Z with iron ons!

2. Follow the directions for your iron on letters. Most require a wet wash cloth between the iron and your letters. If you want to get really creative, add sequins, polka dots or painted handles!

3. Let cool/dry, and you’re all set!
