Hello Lovelies,

If we haven’t connected on Instagram yet, please come and say hello! I’m @PrettyGossip. Here’s what I’ve been up to the past few months…

These are currently my FAVORITE pair of shoes. It’s like my two obsessions (lace and shoes) had a baby. You can find this beauty here.

Below are some of my favorite oil products… From left to right:

  • SpaRitual’s Cuticle Oil is amazing. Once a week, I take off all the polish and treat my nails and cuticles to this oil. My nails feel conditioned, stronger and so much healthier. If you don’t treat your nails, this is something that you’ll want to try. Available here for about $17.
  • Aveda’s All Sensitive Body Oil is great for all over your body. Its unscented and great to use alone or to mix with your favorite lotions. Super moisturizing and great for dry areas like the heels of your feet and elbows. Available here for about $44.
  • Innisfree Green Tea Pure Cleansing Oil is… uh ma zing. This is my second bottle and I’ve even ordered backups! This oil is non greasy and removes EVERYTHING. Waterproof mascara doesn’t stand a chance. My sensitive eyes couldn’t be happier and I can’t say enough about this product. I should probably do a separate post just on this product. In the meantime, if you’re interested, you can buy them here for about $25. Love. Love. Love.

I recently attended a conference and among other things.. we discussed the good and the bad about selfies. On one hand, it can be narcissistic and some people take it overboard with the filtering and blurring. On the other hand, selfies can be a “good” thing. Some people (including myself) take selfies to document how they’re feeling, what they’re experiencing, and to express the self-care/love we have for ourselves.

To celebrate the positives of a selfie… below is a non-filtered, non-altered, and no-makeup selfie of me. Just me enjoying a day at the beach with my favorite weekend accessories: a pair of raybans, a hat, and the beach breeze in my (very tangled) hair.

The NARS skin restorative night treatment is amazing. If your skin is feeling or looking a bit tired or dry, check out my review and see if it’s a good fit for your skin.

If you know me, you know I LOVE Korean street food. Its been a couple of years since I was in Korea, so I was missing all the yummy street food. Thank goodness for Jopok Topokki! They opened recently in Los Angeles and probably come the closest to the yumminess of the street food in Korea. Still drooling and totally craving this as I type this.

Last but not least, I recently started a series of posts to review panty liners, pads and tampons. Below is a picture from my U by Kotex’s Liner review post. Don’t worry, the posts are not scary or gross. They’re all done tastefully. No icky photos. To check out the first couple of posts, click here and here. The next one will probably be on a few types of pads, then I’ll move onto tampons. Please follow me to stay tuned!

That’s what I’ve been up to in a nutshell. To see all my daily shenanigans, come follow me on Instagram (@PrettyGossip). I also love hearing from you so please leave a comment below or come say hello on social media.
