Listen up, babies…Longchamp is throwing a soiree in honor of the 20th anniversary of their iconic Le Pliage bag and YOU’RE INVITED!
It just so happens that I’m one of the hosts along with the über fabulous (and Miami’s favorite fashion blogger) Maria Tettamanti from The Wordy Girl. The two of us are sooo excited to host this event and share the fun with our amazing friends and readers…and that includes you (duh!). Longchamp is a family owned French brand and 20 years ago they create a simple market bag…you know, just some thing the Parisians could use to get their baguettes and flowers from their local stores. But of course, as we all know, anything done by the French has a certain chicness to it and voila! the Le Pliage bag became the “must-have” bag for everyone. People began using this bag for everything from travel to work and of course, market trips. It’s functional yet fashionable. A blend that every fashionista dreams of and seeks out. I always knew this classic bag came nylon but the fab staff at Longchamp showed me all the amazing options that are available with the Le Pliage bag. Personalization, leather, in collaboration with Sarah Morris and heritage are just a few of the many catergories that Le Pliage falls into.Personally, I’m obsessed with this bag and the brand. They are first and foremost a leather goods company and it shows in the details of all their leather bags and luggage. The stitching, the quality of the leather and the hardware are definitely first class in quality and craftsmanship.
Luxe is probably the best way to describe it. It’s clear to see why Longchamp has become the iconic brand it is today. By the way, I didn’t know they made shoes…yes, shoes! These sneakers are not to be confused with your gym shoes. So fab!I would LOVE to see you guys at this event so please save the date and RSVP here.
Come by and enjoy drinks, sweet bites and shop the latest and greatest from Le Pliage collection…after all, the holidays are just a couple weeks away and there’s nothing wrong with starting early…even if it’s just for yourself ;) XOXO, Martha
