OOTD: I lost my mind long ago

I’m surprised that I’m still posting looks. I’m now on my 3rd ever since Quiet Girl’s overhaul. I’m hanging on a rope and worrying about running out of clothes to wear. Haha! This is what I wore when I went out with Crissey and friends last week. The title is from Angus and Julia Stone’s Yellow Brick Road chosen in reference to the mustard yellow skirt I’m wearing: “I lost my mind long ago. Down that yellow brick road.”

I tried smiling with teeth. Whenever I smile with teeth, my eyes turn to slits. When I was in college, I have a few friends who’d say “do you still see anything?” It’s really funny at first. After monthly repetitions, it gets tiring. I sometimes wonder what goes on in people’s minds. If others joke about a commonly ridiculed feature like slit eyes, everyone laughs about it, but if I joke about something striking about their face, they’d probably punch me. Haha! I don’t find it offensive but I think if you perpetually laugh about someone’s feature or if you stereotype someone, that tells a lot about you.

These peep-toe shoes are from Aldo. The painterly florals are gorgeous. I have too much floral peep-toes already but I can’t stop buying them.
