Sleek Sudio Headphones & A Bullet Necklace
There’s one thing that many of us fashion bloggers have in common, and that’s trying to make sure everything we wear and choose looks really fashionable, sleek, pretty and well matched. I’ve noticed that finding electronics to meet this criteria is actually somewhat hard, a lot harder than I had thought actually. I usually end up with some unsightly plugs and gadgets or a massive pair of headphones. I recently found out about Sudio though just before Christmas and I completely fell in love with the brand.
Sudio are a Swedish born headphones company, but dedicated to making headphones that look sleek, fashionable and pretty all while creating great sound. I have the white and gold pair here and as you can see, they are really nice to look at and the sound when listening to music is great! I usually get sore ears after listening for a little while with ear buds, but these are designed in a great way so my ears stay comfortable, which is a huge bonus for me!
One thing that I did find really cool though was how they got their name. One of the founders spotted the musician Phil Collins (who I love) in New York having problems with his headphones, similar to his own issues, so the name Sudio is an homage to Phil Collins song Sussudio and the determination of succeeding with the venture rendered from the bitter sweet anecdote. I also wanted to speak about this gorgeous bullet necklace I’m wearing. I teamed up with Ammunition Jewelry to create a custom piece of theirs, inspired by my blogs name, Raindrops of Sapphire. The lovely girls there found a gorgeous raw sapphire to attach to the silver bullet and used white and red metallic thread to wrap around it, to create a one of a kind piece! You can see the photos of it more in depth below, but it’s truly gorgeous and I can’t thank them enough for it! They are a great charitable, independent brand from the US and their enthusiasm really shows through in their designs! It’s unique, fun and quirky, just what I love! And finally, getting to my outfit here, for those wondering what I’m wearing, I wore my BLANK NYC Boyfriend Jeans with a Topshop White Cropped Top and layered over my River Island Biscuit Waterfall Cardigan. I finished the look off by cuffing the jeans to show off my Topshop Harp Metal Heel Boots in Nude. It’s definitely just a really casual, comfortable outfit that I didn’t pay much attention to when thinking it up, but I actually quite liked how it turned out. I have two of these cardigans now, one in grey which you saw before and now this one. I think they are amazing and I can’t get enough of them since they are acrylic, so no itchy wool!
