An Autumn Quilt - A Finished Quilt

Lots of photos to share with you today ...
An Autumn Quilt ~ Quick Stats Quilt top measures 60.5" x 75.5" 30 rows of 24 squares 720 squares each measuring 2.5" x 2.5" (excluding seam allowances) 120 different fabrics used.

A finished quilt ~ I love patchwork! Simple patchwork and pretty fabrics are at the top of my "favorite things" list. This quilt is all of that, with lots of fabrics stash basics, pretty floral fabrics, vintage fabrics as well as Liberty Tana Lawn. This is what my happy sewing looks like.

The finished squares measure 2.5" x 2.5" and I have quilted the quilt by ditch-stitching (from edge to edge) all seam lines, then stitching a single vertical and horizontal line through the center of each square, in effect creating an all over 1.25" grid. I did not use a quilting guide to keep the lines straight although as with such small squares I can quite accurately gauge the center line without the use of a quilting guide simply by keeping my eye on the outer edges of the walking foot and the seam lines.

For the back of the quilt I have used a single fabric from the Country Girls collection by Tasha Noel. And for binding I have used another fabric favorite, my signature black and white stripe fabric by Timeless Treasures.

This quilt is for sale and is listed in my Etsy Store. You can see all the listing details here:
