Some people have amazing style, so amazing it’s slightly intimidating. Roxy Jacenko, Australian Business Women, author, celebrity, PR Queen and mother, is one of those people. Today she is sharing some of her styling tips with us. Seriously, I would love to raid her wardrobe!

How would your friends or family describe your style?
Expensive – eeeek!! I like to say an eclectic mix of Tran seasonal pieces mixed with the must haves of the season.
What are your favourite tips for creating a great work wardrobe?
I generally stick with a very neutral colour palette of Navy, Black, Grey Marle and White and its not often that I deviate, a colour palette means that you can inject a ‘must have piece’ into your look and create something new out of something you may have in your wardrobe as a staple. For me right now, I love putting an Army Grey piece back with Black – even with a dress I might have had which is black and classic for ages, popping a great new jacket in a colour of the season such as army green make for a completely new look. I also feel its important to keep your wardrobe organised, If it is, its SO much easier to workshop your outfit, you also have a better idea of what you have which means you spend less money buying items you don’t need!
What items will you be hunting down to add to your Autumn/Winter wardrobe?
Anything Balmain – its my guilty pleasure. The tailoring of their jackets is phenomenal. Scanlan & Theodore’s cuts/shapes are gorgeous and their knit fabrics look fabulous on, Josh Goot is a friend and I love everything he does – especially his Black and Grey Marle items. I am also really partial to Bassike for weekend wear, the drop crotch Jeans with a simple stripe tee and a great flat always look effortlessly chic! Denim is ALWAYS a major part of my wardrobe and I have just bought two great to the calf denim skirts – perfect to dress up or down!
What is your favourite way to style a crisp white shirt?
Simply! I think there is no better look than a Crisp white shirt back with Denim. Undone with the sleeves cuffed and a great contrasting bra in Navy underneath – match that with a great bag and shoe and you look like you’ve walked off the set of a Ralph Lauren commercial! CHIC!
Have you had any style or beauty mishaps and are you prepared to share them?
Way too many! I have had every hair colour imaginable – always inspired by some Hollywood star or another (and never a great look on me) right through to that dreadful snap pants trend when I was in my teens when dressing like I was about to rob a bank in a pair, a mens oversize t-shirt and a pair of joggers was, in my eyes, so hot right now… Oh my – how NOT hot that was!!!!!!! I have certainly learnt, Less IS More!!
