Everything I Need

First day of my first SXSW experience went something like this. We got off the plane, got coffee, left our stuff at Jane’s and headed to Spotify House. Spotify House essential became our home base for the rest of SXSW. Especially once we befriended some Spotify employees. Shoutout to B, for being so great to us.

It had everything we needed pretty much. I saw Ryan Hemsworth finally, who is just so freckin cute it’s hard to look directly at him. Saw favorites like SZA, Wale, ODESZA and an actor or two roaming around. There was an on stage rumble, Wyclef popped up and performed which I only caught the tail end of.

So this is my off the plane right into the thick of things look. I hadn’t slept because I’d spent the entire weekend partying with friends in town from New York. Queen of bad decisions right here! I think I spent the rest of SXSW in flats or Isabel Marant sneaker wedges. You do so much walking, heels cannot go beyond a first day look even comfy ones. Would I do SXSW again…yeah probably. It’s been my favorite festival experience so far.
