NARS 'One Night Stand' Blush Palette | Review & Swatches

I think something happens to us makeup enthusiasts when it comes to palettes. An electric jolt. Yes. That's it. So obviously when six NARS blushes come in a hand held sized contraption - the beauty world is going to feel some serious current. Needless to say, it's selling out quick - I believe it's sold out online but still available at counters.

The lighting was so difficult!
The shade range is more suited towards fair to medium complexions, and even though I love Francois' blush formula - these guys were a little difficult to swatch. Still, on the cheeks they are smooth and blendable. I like that the colour range is quite tame, I'm tired of being vigilant with my blush application. No tapping here..! Let's go for the swirl..! Surprisingly each blush is only slightly smaller than a full sized blush so it's a fantabulous deal/gift.

DEVOTEE: The resident highlighter. Mainly a neutral beige, just a smidge pinkish. The texture is lovely and smooth (smoothest in the palette) and a little goes a long way since it's quite frosty. MISTINGUETTE: A matte pale cool toned pink. I really like these type of colours but I can tell it's not for everyone. ORGASM: Needs no introduction, a warm coral/peach - the most well known blush in the universe. Adds a beautiful glow due to the gold shot through it. LAGUNA: A lovely bronzer and decent contour too! Contrary to popular belief, I see no shimmer in Laguna - I'll go as far as 'satin'. This one is a little bid harder than the full size that I'm used to but nothing a stiffer brush can't fix. DEEP THROAT: Orgasm's pinkish 'innocent' sister. (God these names!) No gold but still glowy. GOULUE: A neutral berry tone with a golden sheen. Flattering for fall, this one may need a 'tap'!
I'm in love with this palette, it's so well thought out and suitable for all seasons. If you want it though - you need to snap it up fast! £45/24g
