May Favourites

It's been a while since my last favourites post and there have been a lot of products tickling my fancy recently with a few investment purchases proving to be well worth it...

Benefit Box O' Powder in 'Rockateur' The latest addition to the Benefit Box O' Powder line-up and it's a good'un. A gorgeous rose gold that gives a subtle pinky sheen and goes with pretty much any makeup look.
They're Real Push-Up Liner* Benefit are really bringing it this year and their new They're Real Liner Push Up liner is possibly the best of an incredible bunch of new releases. The forumla is black, matte and so long-lasting and the push-up pen is genuinely genius, making my train-ride attempts at winged liner a piece of cake. I actually already reviewed the liner as part of Elle's subscriber programme, #ElleInsider, before I knew it was Benefit so you can read my totally unbiased rave review here. The liner hits UK counters on 28 June.

Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette Definitely late to the party with this one, after being convinced that the shades wouldn't suit me I suddenly decided that I couldn't be without this. I don't know what I was thinking before, the shades are perrrfect for Spring/Summer with the potential for so many gorgeous looks. As ever, the shadows are incredible quality; buttery, pigmented, with great staying-power.

Essie 'Go Ginza' Essie polishes are by far my favourite, the formula has unrivalled longevity, always opaque in two coats and an incredibly thick brush which makes application so easy. Go Ginza is a gorgeous pale lilac and is feeding my pastel obsession extremely well.
Dior Addict Fluid Stick in 'Pandore' Dior are the next brand to venture into the liquid lipstick department with the release of their Addict Fluid Sticks and they've done it incredibly well. Unlike any others on the market, these aren't matte but have a glossy balmy texture which is far more sumer friendly. These apply like a dream and my shade of choice; 754 'Pandore'- a vibrant coral red, is proving to be the perfect lip companion.
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation It took me a while to get used to it but Nars Sheer Glow has fought its way to the top of my favourite foundations list. This gives an airbrushed, satiny finish with a subtle glow that has good coverage without being cakey. Full review to follow shortly.
