Have you ever flipped through magazines or scrolled through Pinterest, Tumblr or even fashion blogs and think to yourself, "Wow, that is an edgy backless dress. I really need to have that." or "Those metallic shorts would be perfect with the shoes I just bought. Where can I get my hands on those?" Like me, I'm sure you do it daily. With magazines and fashion blogs, though, the writer or blogger usually credit the brand and make it easy for you to see where you can purchase a certain item and its price.
With Pinterest and Tumblr, however, things can get a little tricky. People re-pin and re-blog countless photos constantly- every day, every minute, every second. A lot of the times, by the time it gets its 48th repin or 379,245th reblog, the information of who wore it, who designed it and how much it costs gets lost.
Well, I'm going to solve that problem for all of you who read my blog- well, kind of. I'll try to post a "Get the Look" blurb every so often so that you have a chance to acquire the outfit of your dreams. For me, as soon as I saw this outfit on Tumblr, I wanted to have it. Preppy isn't usually my style, but I thought the feather skirt made it much more fashionable and Serena van der Woodsen-esque.
