Outfit: Secret Garden

When we were looking for a wedding venue we trawled the countryside in the south
of the UK weekend after weekend searching for that perfect place. Our criteria;
informal, welcoming, unusual and beautiful. Not too much of a tall order then.

Larmer Tree Gardens is a jewel tucked in the middle of rural Wiltshire, just a stones
throw from Salisbury. Its safe to say there's nowhere quite like it - a Victorian
pleasure garden, its retained its mysterious charm; half a dozen outbuildings
decorate the site, ranging from a temple to a pavilion with wild peacocks roaming
around and exquisite botany growing alongside every pathway and pond.

Unfortunately Larmer Tree was just that little bit too far from home for us, but I've
spotted many a beautiful day photographed there - just Google it, you'll be spoilt for
choice.
