Rockabilly Pin-Up Nail Art ~ Roses & Polka Dots

Hey there Nailistas! I have one more belated mani done from last week’s Digit-al Dozen challenge. This one was inspired by one of my favorite current fashion trends, “rockabilly style”. Even though I could probably never pull it off myself – I love the dark hair, cat eye, whole Bettie Page pin-up look. I can’t help but think of my real-life friend Carrie (@madame_meowz on Instagram) she is the embodiment of the modern day pin up. And now I totally want to do her nails! Haha!

I used Pretty Serious Presence for the base and topped it with Cirque We Trippy holo top coat to give it a bit of sparkle. The polka dots are from the Dream Girl 06 stamping plate. And I freehanded the roses with acrylic paints. Hop over to my YouTube channel to watch me make these.

I really love how these came out! I’ve been wearing them for a few days and have gotten a surprising amount of compliments – a lady at walmart even asked if they were jamberry.. bwahahaha!

Allso I’ve just joined the Live Love Polish team so I wanted to make sure to let you all know that both of the nail polishes I used in this mani can be found at LLP as well, along with a ton of other unique nail lacquers. Check them out at LiveLovePolish.com! By the way, new customers can get 10% off!

And in case you missed it, don’t forget to visit the rest of the DD girls to see their fashion inspired nail designs from last week in the InLinkz below!
