Looking For: The Best Scented Candles

As I'm writing this post, I'm burning my latest favorite: Joshua Tree. Just like every other Ralph Lauren candle I've bought, it's an intoxicating scent. It smells of balmy summer nights, fire pits and sea breeze. It certainly obliterates the knowledge of a howling blizzard outside. When I lived in Australia, my most-loved candle was Quebec; it smelled of home. I just love how scents can make you travel in time and space, which is presumably why candles are my favorite thing to collect.
When I spoke about my scented candle collection last Friday, it dawned on me that I had never actually shared my favorite scents with you all. So here they are in all their glory, from the modest Coeur de Cassis to the exuberant Ernesto.
