I Miss You

Happy Wednesday!!
It's my DT day over at Meljen's Designs!! I had a ton of fun putting this card together! It felt nice to step away from Christmas cards for a little bit, even though I'm right back at them today :)
I laid out most of the details on this card in my post at Meljen's Designs, so I'll just touch on a few points here. I've really been digging my watercolors! Can't get enough of them! So of course I snagged them for the background on this card. I love the soft watery blue, it's just so pretty!

The adorable image is Heart Strings Parasol from Meljen's Designs. I've colored it in lightly with my ShinHan markers before adding some glitter brush to the edges and a few liquid pearls for detail. The hearts were die cut from some glitter paper and glued down with glossy accents.

I drew a lot of inspiration for this card from the Time Out Challenge this week. One part that I totally loved about the inspiration card was the sentiment and how one word really stood out. I don't have many sentiments like that, so decided to try and miss-match a few. I ended up using a stamp from the WPlus9 Fresh Cut Florals, and the "You" from the Simon Says Stamp You Are Pawesome set to create my sentiment. And I love it! They aren't a perfect match to coordinate together, but they are both fancy and I just love them together!

And of course, no card these days is complete without glitter. So I bordered the whole panel with some sparkly blue glitter paper :)

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Card Mania #61-Favorite Color Combo (right now it's blue and silver...can't get enough of it!)
Penny's Paper Crafty #207-Anything Other Than Christmas
Sassy Studio #258-All That Glitters
Time Out #20-CASE Amy Wanford
Word Art Wednesday #162-Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!! I truly appreciate that you took a little time from your day to visit <3
