Lunch Date

You know when you buy a pair of pants or a dress that does not quite fit and you use them for motivation or nspiration? Not that I do that, obviously. That would be silly. But, let’s say I did. Is it a faux pas to admit it? Not that it’s true, but if it was, would it make me superficial and silly, or overzealous?

Not that it matters because these faux leather pants were definitely not that kind of purchase.

How terrible am I at trying to come across sarcastic in print? I found these babies at Crossroads in Portland, OR on the last day of our honeymoon. Did I ever mention the we drove passed a Crossroads on the way to the airport and I absolutely had I stop in, which made it necessary to run to our gate? I take my shopping seriously. Like all recycled clothing stores, there were only one pair and I was too in love to leave them behind. Luckily, since the honeymoon bloat melted off, I can now get them on!

So, the answer is superficial right?

I cannot believe I have finally bought a new purse. I cannot remember the last time I bought a new purse; I usually take old ones from my mom or sister. I needed a bigger bag and bigger it is indeed. Another confession: I wanted a larger bag partly because I wanted to be able to take my selfie stick with me everywhere. Judge away, but you will never know how handy or fun a selfie stick is unitl you use one!

I used my day off yesterday wisely by meeting the husband for a lunch date!

Speaking of dates, what is everyone’s opinion on Valentine’s Day? I’m neutral. I don’t need a big hoopla for it. I would rather be surprised with something on a “normal” day, but I am excited to dress up a little and go to dinner with my Husband!
