I honestly wanted to title this post “boys look cute in the fall” after browsing Pinterest for some inspiration because Dave is in dire need of some new jeans. As a woman, I’m always prepared for the process of shopping and trying on a new pair of jeans. It’s not my most favorite thing to do in the world, but unfortunately denim is like an extra appendage so it is something that just needs to be done. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see Dave’s stress after going through his closet, trying on a few pairs of jeans only to realize that they all are looking a little haggard, and mentally preparing himself for the hunt. You don’t realize how important a good pair of jeans is in your closet until one day your favorite pair is no longer doing it for you – enter Nordstrom.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – Nordstrom is my go-to for everything. Denim, dresses, sweaters, a new coat, shoes, my makeup, baubles, perfume, new sunnies, handbags – you name it. Dave has been well aware of my obsession for quite some time so when I told him I would help him find a new pair of jeans he knew exactly where I was going to take him. A denim department can sometimes be daunting but Nordstrom makes it really easy to spot your favorite brands and go from there. I always prefer a slimmer leg on men but Dave is all about the comfort so we usually meet in the middle on a slim straight leg style that will keep its shape but still have enough room to move around with ease. We decided to grab a darker pair for more dressy-casual situations {perfect for a business-casual work environment} and a lighter pair for everyday. If you’re looking to up your man’s denim game, I highly recommend taking them to Nordstrom! Their denim department will not disappoint.
