When we find ourselves trying to simply survive a season (or eight) in our life (i.e. no energy for weeding the garden or buying printer paper or bathing) we can focus on serving others--in both large and very small ways--simultaneously taking the focus off of our own pain while fulfilling a need elsewhere. How cool is that? I believe this is how we ServeVive, and ultimately, how we learn to thrive in community with one another in a sometimes chaotic and always fascinating world.
