Boov Pop – The Official Mobile Puzzle Game from DreamWork’s new animated film Home

Last year I was fortunate to see a clip from the upcoming DreamWorks release Home. The film looks super adorable and very funny. I have been anxiously awaiting it’s release.

Recently I have seen the trailer for the film on television. I am thrilled to announce that the movie will be in theaters on March 27, 2015.

If you have not seen the trailer yet you can check it out here.

Doesn’t it look funny? I can’t wait to see it with my family.

In addition to the film’s release, DreamWorks has also released a fun mobile puzzle game based on the film. It’s called Boov Pop! It was developed and published by Behaviour Interactive. The new game is now available exclusively on the App Store.

Emerging mobile publisher Behaviour Interactive, one of the largest independent game developers is excited to announce the release of their new title: HOME: Boov Pop!, the official puzzle game based on DreamWorks Animation’s 3D comedy adventure Home.

This free-to-play casual game offers a new twist to the puzzle genre, by adding a gravity-based design combined with out of this world 3D graphics to create a unique gaming experience! Play as Oh, Tip and Captain Smek as they battle their intergalactic enemy across three stunning settings: Paris, Asia and Florida. Connect power bubbles for epic chain reactions and use each character’s special ability to maximize your score!

Jimmy Gendron, VP of Mobile at Behaviour Interactive said: “Our innovative physics based gameplay is not only unique, it’s also a natural fit with the movie universe. It sets HOME: Boov Pop! apart from traditional puzzle games. We’re really excited to get it out there for everyone to enjoy.”

Based on the best-selling book The True Meaning of Smekday by Adam Rex, Home hits theaters on March 27, 2015. When Oh, a loveable misfit from another planet, lands on Earth and finds himself on the run from his own people, he forms an unlikely friendship with an adventurous girl named Tip who is on a quest of her own. Through a series of comic adventures with Tip, Oh comes to understand that being different and making mistakes is all part of being human, and together they discover the true meaning of the word Home.
