Jurassic World available on Blu-ray, DVD, VOD and Digital HD in October 2015

Have you seen one of this years box office hits – Jurassic World? I haven’t seen it yet! Every time my husband and I made plans to see the film something always came up. I’m so irked about that too because I bet this film is amazing in 3D and on the big screen.

Shattering records globally, Jurassic World crushed the opening-weekend box-office, scoring the highest domestic, international and worldwide openings of all time. The film has taken in more than $1.6 billion globally to become the third-highest grossing film in history.

Sadly, I don’t see the film playing locally anymore. The good news is that Jurassic World is coming to VOD, DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD in October 2015.

Digital HD – October 1, 2015

3D Blu-ray, Blu-ray, DVD and On Demand – October 20, 2015

Just in case you haven’t seen the film yet, here is a brief synopsis;

More than two decades since Steven Spielberg’s Jurassic Park was released, fans of the original films and new moviegoers alike can witness the story come full circle as the park that was only a promise comes to life.

Now, 22 years later, an even bigger and enormously popular attraction has risen on Isla Nubar: Jurassic World. To keep attendance high, the park operators introduce a new, genetically modified hybrid creature called Indominus Rex. Bigger, stronger and far more intelligent than any dinosaur that ever walked the earth; the secretive new breed also proves more dangerous than anyone ever anticipated.

Jurassic World stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Jake Johnson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, Judy Greer and Irrfan Khan.

Jurassic World is based on the story by Michael Crichton.

Naturally the film will come with a lot of must-see bonus features. I don’t know about you but I love watching bonus features. You can learn a lot about what went on behind the scenes and gives you a better appreciation for the film.

  • Innovation Center Tour with Chris Pratt: Chris Pratt gives a tour of the Innovation Center, a museum/exhibit, built just for the movie.
