Now Available on Digital HD & Blu-ray Combo Pack – Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day

Available today (February 10, 2015) on Digital HD, Disney Movies Anywhere, On Demand and Blu-ray Combo Pack is the hit Disney film Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. The film is based on the book by the same name written by Judith Viorst.

Alexander… (I’ll refer to the film as “Alexander” instead of writing out the entire film name each time) stars Steve Carell, Jennifer Gardner and Ed Oxenbould as the staring role of Alexander Cooper.

Alexader never seems to have a good day. Everything that could go wrong usually does. That is not the case with his parents or siblings. Everything always seems to go their way. For example, Alexander’s mom is up for a big promotion, his brother is dating the most popular girl in school and is about to be named Duke and Dutchess at the prom and his sister has lead role of Peter Pan in the school play. Even his baby brother seems to have good days.

Poor Alexander seems to have bad days all the time. He just found out that one of the popular boys in his class is having a birthday party the same day and time as his birthday party which means everyone will be at that party and not his. To make matters worse he burned his crush’s notebook and set the science room on fire.

Alexander tries to make his family understand that his days are not always “sunshine and rainbows” like their days usually are but they simply cannot understand where he is coming from. Their days are almost always perfect.

Shortly after midnight on his birthday Alexander makes a birthday wish that his family would know what it was like to be him and not have a great day all the time.

Little did Alexander know his wish would come true – and at the worst possible time. His father has an important job interview, mom has an event that will decide if she becomes the VP or not, his sister’s play is that day and later on that night is prom for his older brother.

Just like it is with a typical day for Alexander, everything that could go wrong does go wrong for his family members. As for Alexander he has one of his best days ever.

How will the day turn out? Will things ever go back to normal? Is the Cooper family destined to have nothing but Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day, every day? To find out you need to pick up a copy of Disney’s Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day. Look for it today where ever movies are sold.

This is a fun family movie. There is something for young and old alike to enjoy. Even my hard to impress teenagers found themselves laughing out loud throughout the movie.

All the characters were very likable (except Bella Thorne’s character – she was just mean and selfish). Steve Carell and Jennifer Gardner didn’t fail to bring on the laugh’s. They are both great comedic actors.

Ed Oxenbould was the perfect casting choice to play Alexander. He totally nailed the part.

This is a great movie to add to your family’s movie collection.

There are some bonus features included that are worth checking out including the bloopers (it looked like they had a lot of fun on the set), a behind the scenes look compliments of Ed Oxenbould and a video camera and even a behind the scenes look at the cool animals used in the film including a Kangaroo, Alligator and Emus.
