We're Going to Star Wars Celebration!

All I have really been able to think about for the past month or so is the Star Wars Celebration Convention. Actually, I've been thinking about it for ages but the closer it gets the more excited I've been! It's going to be at the Anaheim Convention Center one week from today! The only way I can possibly describe to you how thrilled I am to be able to go is that it's going to be one of the best days ever! My husband and I have never been to a Star Wars event this big before and we're both attending together for the first time! We both grew up loving the films and met in line for the midnight showing of Attack of the Clones. So you can see, it's pretty much our thing! Today I wanted to share with you some of the things we are bringing to the convention and what we're wearing!

I have an incredible Jedi robe and Force FX Lightsaber, but I wanted to be able to get around easily and be comfortable which is why I decided to wear the best Darth Vader shirt ever from We Love Fine (even the back of the shirt is detailed to look like his robe!). Jason is going to be wearing a shirt he got for Christmas from my brother (which he found at Macy's) which features Darth Vader drumming with lightsabers. It doesn't get much cooler than that!

We are both bringing backpacks to not only carry the merch we'll be buying but also things like water bottles, snacks, a camera, a portable battery pack to charge our phones, etc. Jason's backpack is just plain black but mine represents the life of Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader. I've had it since 2002 and I just love it! Oh, I'm also tucking in a medium-sized Star Wars tote bag which we most likely will be needing for all the stuff we're going to buy!

Of course, we'll need our passes as well! The Storm Troopers will go quite nicely with our Vader shirts though Jason would've preferred them a different color than pink. My mom gifted me this Star Wars notebook a while ago and I had been saving it for something special. I decided to finally use it for the event! Inside I have written down panels and booths we want to see a long with a checklist of things to bring! It will also come in handy for note-taking, because sometimes that's easier than logging it into your phone.
