Spring Weekending in a Striped Blazer and Sneakers

Lately, "weekend" has been a verb. It's been a lot of errand-running, blog conference-attending (more on that later this week), picture-taking, dinner-making, and toddler-entertaining. It has become the norm to fill up the weekend checking off the remaining items on the list, and by Monday, I'm often exhausted rather than rejuvenated. I love what Megan at Two Birds had to say about planning a weekend to do nothing. I may not be ready to let go of a whole weekend, but for the next couple of weekends of my favorite month, I'm going to try to slow down and soak it up a little more.

This look is ready for either type of weekend, fast-paced or slow. The Chucks and boyfriend jeans keep things casual, but the blazer and eNVe designs necklace add polish.

How did you spend your weekend?

Striped blazer: Gap Outlet | gold print tee: Old Navy | boyfriend jeans: Loft | necklace: c/o eNVe Designs | white sneakers: Converse via DSW
!function(doc,s,id){ var e, p; if(!doc.getElementById(id)) { e = doc.createElement(s); e.id = id; p = '//shopsensewidget.shopstyle.com/widget-script.js'; var cb = new Date().getTime(); p = '?cb=' cb; e.src = p; doc.body.appendChild(e); } if(typeof window.ss_shopsense === 'object'){ if(doc.readyState === 'complete'){ window.ss_shopsense.init(); } } }(document, 'script', 'shopsensewidget-script');

Other ways I've worn boyfriend jeans:
