Goldplaited Chicago

If I could describe the perfect Friday, it would consist of some serious pampering (while sipping on champagne), shopping, and a much needed girls night out. The best part about this ‘perfect’ scenario is that it actually happened last Friday. I had been wanting to check out goldplaited, a finishing salon, that recently opened down the street from my apartment since before they were even open for business.

Owners, Mal & Co, made their dream a reality by opening up their salon doors to women all over Chicago who love a good pampering sesh. The salon offers blowouts, makeup applications, champagne, and a party room to enjoy some QT with your girlfriends.

Decked out with an ‘all gold everything’ vibe, goldplaited sells beauty and hair products on site, including products from their own goldplaited line.

For my first visit, I really wanted to walk out with a “Pinterest-worthy” top knot (you know the ones I’m talking about) and makeup application. That’s where Kristy and Lynnea came in and helped me leave there feeling like a million bucks.
