DIY - hair clip frame

I love my toddler, Jaylen, so so much and could not imagine my life without him, but I am so thankful for my baby daughter, Jordyn, because I've always wanted a little girl. She is the sweetest most precious thing ever, and as a bonus, I get to have tons of fun dressing her up. I've been holding off on buying any outfits for her because we received so many hand-me-downs, and we literally don't need any clothes for a whole year. To compensate, (because little baby girl things are just too darn cute not to buy) I bought this adorable collection of hair clips. When these clips came in a box, I knew I needed a better way to store them because let's face it, the box is ugly and not very functional. In order to make the frame, all I needed were a wooded frame, some paint, ribbons, and hot glue.
The frame is from Michaels and was originally in unfinished wood so I painted it white. (This picture reminds me, I totally need a better way to store ribbons too...)
When the paint dries, cut the ribbons into the size of the frame and glue them down. I used different colored ribbons just because it's more fun that way. :)
Ta-da! The finished frame with little tiny hair clips. I hung it in the bathroom using a push pin.
Here's my 3 month old baby girl, Jordyn, fashioning the blue gingham pin! Isn't she sooooo stinkin' cute??!! I just can't get enough of that sweet face!!
ps... for those who suspect bruises on my baby's hands and legs, I promise those aren't bruises... look up Mongolian spots on Asian babies... :)
