embroidery kits you’ll want to stitch right now

I used to want to hand-pick every little aspect of my crafty creations. But these days, I’m creating things in my every day business – so I make creative decisions all. day. long. (and I love it, I really do!) Because of that, when I get a chance to make something for fun, I kind of like it when most of the decisions have already been tested and determined for me. Craft kits are the best way to unwind – because I can just enjoy the process!

So Kiriki’s ever-growing collection of embroidery kits sounds like a perfect way to spend an evening watching guilty-pleasure TV with a mug of tea at my side. I know, I’m livin’ large. I’m not good with embroidery or stitching in general, so these kits are a double dose of good for me. I’ll get a beautiful hand-embroidered creature at the end of it (or, erm, Birdie will, of course) and I’ll learn and improve some skills along the way! At first I was in love with the Owl – which is a level 3 kit. But then I saw the raccoon, and I have to say his little fingers are trying to reach out and grab me. The kits include everything we’ll need to get going right away: screen printed pattern on unbleached cotton, printed backing fabric, embroidery floss, eco-friendly stuffing, and instruction sheet. All you’ll need to bring to the table is an embroidery hoop, needle, and some scissors.
