One Fabric Nation- Intermix by Erin McMorris

I have another gorgeous line of Free Spirit Fabric to share with you! Today I’m showing off the funky and fabulous new prints from Erin McMorris. I fell in love with Erin’s designs last fall when I stumbled across Noteworthy and ordered it as fast as I could to use it for a little Back-to-School tunic for my first grader.

I used the Izzy & Ivy Designs Charly Tunic and modified it to be sleeveless. I also added a faux placket, which I’ll be replicating in the Charly Sew Along next month! Anyway, it was perfect for Meet the Teacher day at school this year.

Erin’s latest line hit stores last month and it is fresh and vibrant! Intermix is exactly that: a mix of florals, graphic prints, and vivid colors. I chose the green colorway to sew, as Pantone has dubbed “greenery” as the color of the year, and there are several greens and blues tied in together.

I used the Such a Sweet Pea Skirt pattern from Izzy & Ivy for this project, and added the sweet pockets on the side. They were the perfect place for a pop of turquoise Cluny lace!

I loved the boldness of the black lines, so I thought it would look really great with black and white accessories, plus the denim jacket since we are still deciding if we are going to have winter here this year. This particular day was rather blustery and cold, and this sweet girl nailed this shoot in five minutes! Earned every single Shopkin!

This line comes in pink and brown colorways, too, so a little something for everyone.

Head over to my Instagram feed, where I’ll be giving away a bundle of Intermix!
