Abbey Burger Bistro to Open Fells Point Location

Award-winning Federal Hill burger restaurant Abbey Burger Bistro will be opening its third location this Fall in Fells Point. Abbey Burger, which also has a restaurant in Ocean City, will be taking over the 2,600 sq. ft. space at 811 S. Broadway St., formerly occupied by Willow.

Jason Zink, the current owner of Smaltimore in Canton and former owner of No Idea Tavern and Don’t Know Tavern in South Baltimore, will be an investor at the new restaurant, joining the husband and wife ownership team of Russ and Marigot Miller.

The Fells Point location will have the same atmosphere and menu as its Federal Hill location. It focus on high-quality burgers, specialty meat burgers and a large beer selection. It will be open for lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunch. The new location will seat approximately 100 people and will have outdoor seating facing Broadway.

The ownership group told SouthBMore.com that the new location was a good opportunity that presented itself and that they love the area due to its great mix of locals and tourists.

Abbey Burger in Fells Point will have a liquor board hearing in July and will be meeting with the different Fells Point neighborhood groups in the upcoming weeks. It plans on having its soft and grand opening in November.
