What you need:
- 1 fat quarter for the light fabric
- 1 fat quarter for the dark fabric
- Insul Bright (insulated batting with a metallic sheet woven through the batting, can be found at any fabric store)
- Download pdf pattern here.
1) Lay the dark fat quarter, the light fat quarter and the batting on top of each other so you only have to cut once.
2) Cut out the oval- · One for the light fabric · One for the dark fabric · One for the batting
4) Place one pocket piece of the batting down, lay one pocket piece of the light fabric right side up on top of the batting and one pocket piece of dark fabric right side down on top of the light piece.
6) Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the other finger hold. 7) Iron both finger holds 8) Turn the fabric over and iron it down.
12) Place the dark oval on top with the pattern side facing down and pin together leaving a gap for turning.
14) Turn it right side out. 15) Iron out all those pesky wrinkles. 16) Tuck in the extra fabric and pin and stitch the gap. Sew on the opposite side of the gap so they match.
