My Dream Bathtub

On Sunday I was leisurely pinning away and I came across a pin that led t HGTV’s website and HGTV FrontDoor’s 50 Most Pinned Photos - the first photo of this beautiful bathtub stopped me dead in my tracks. I had been outside for an hour, my toes were still unfreezing and the idea of a warm bath sounded absolutely amazing . Immediately I started searching for amazing master suites with soaking tubs.

There are so many absolutely beautiful homes when you flip through the channels – between House Hunters International and sitcoms with “city” apartments for “struggling” people that are about eight times larger than any real apartment I have ever seen (think Friends or New Girl). Moving into my studio apartment was one of the best decisions I have made since moving to New York but there is one downside, I do not have a bathtub. Sure, a stand up shower does the trick but there are often times I wish I could just take a long and relaxing bath, especially after how many amazing things I have been hearing about the Lush bath bombs.

This lust reminded me that when I have a house of my own, if I am able to create my dream bathroom there will absolutely be a large, luxurious soaking tub. These are the ones I am currently in a love affair with:
