VIDEO: How to do the Spotlight Scoring Technique – Dragonfly Wow

CARD

This stunning WOW card from the Stampin Up Dragonfly Dreams stamp set was created by my friend Karen Duke (Canada). This scoring spotlight technique is surprisingly easy to create, I’ll show you how on the video below. The Gold, Elegant Eggplant and Perfect Plum combination is striking.

VIDEO TIPS

2 things to note on the video:

1. I sponged with Perfect Plum ink and Karen used Elegant Eggplant on her original. The Plum is more subtle. I like the Eggplant better, more dramatic.
2. Be sure to sponge both sides of the fold. I was in a hurry and only doing the top, but it looks better if you sponge on either side.
