Yearly Math Overview!

Hey, y'all! I'm linking up with Deedee Wills to share a Peek at my Week YEAR! I've come up with a plan for math that should last for the entire year. I know I will have to adjust, rearrange, and change things up as the year goes on, BUT I want to have a tentative schedule that I can use while planning. My district gives us a lot of guidance when it comes to knowing when to teach what we teach, but I like to get a little bit more detailed for my classroom and break it into a weekly focus.
I took a few things into consideration while making this plan... 1. Our new math standards in Texas 2. Following along with my district schedule 3. Giving my students plenty of time to master the concepts
What you won't see included... 1. Math Stations (I do those by seasons normally or just pull games to go along with each concept) 2. Basic Fact practice, Daily Word Problems, etc.
I have made this a clickable document so you can easily see what I use to teach each concept. Some things are new to me... like an open number line and financial literacy, so I will have to learn as I go. Other things I have done in the past so I know they will work well with my new students. I am always scouring Pinterest, Blogs, and TpT for new ideas and lessons to keep my stuff fresh and current. My lesson plans definitely evolve over the years!
As I meet with my team this may definitely change, but I needed a starting point! I am also working on a yearly plan for Reading and Grammar, so those should be posted next week! In the meantime, check on what other teachers have planned in their classrooms!
