My day in a 5 minutes...

I just had a funny thought. I said, “I don’t have time to write a stream of consciousness post right now. I’ll write a long post later.” What kind of sense does that make?

This one is five minutes of my time. By the time I add the bells and whistles to the other one I want to write, it’ll likely be an hour or more out of my day.

Today is going to be 68 degrees and though that’s not unusual for us to get in January, we haven’t seen any warmth and not very much sunshine this month.

I can predict how this day is going to go. As soon as I get done here, I’ve got to direct traffic. That it my 45 year old and 10 year old, to get out of here for church on time.

We’ll get back and I’ll make a late breakfast I guess??? We normally go to 8:00 service so breakfast after 10:00 isn’t weird. W’ll we will see about that breakfast thing. Then I have to decide what’s for dinner.

In that time, if Christopher hasn’t found anyone home to play with, I will be outside with him playing basketball. I fully intend on the latter. I will be getting my sweat on in the sunshine today.

Has it been five minutes yet? No? Well I’ve got to go anyway. I had 20 seconds.

This was my 5 minute Stream of Consciousness Sunday post. It’s five minutes of your time and a brain dump. Want to try it? Here are the rules…

  • Set a timer and write for 5 minutes.
  • Write an intro to the post if you want but don’t edit the post. This is writing in the raw.
  • Publish it somewhere. Anywhere. The back door to your blog if you want. But make it accessible.
  • Link your new posts to All Things Fadra (feel free to use her SOC Sunday graphic).
