We Remember...

Young men and women... laid to rest. Young girls, widowed. Young men, widowers.

We remember...
Children... fatherless. Parents... grieving their children.

We remember... That, as the sweet glow of an American street lamp bounces softly off of the walls of our bedroom at night, soldiers are tucked inside a fox hole... across the world.... haven't slept for days... fighting for their country.

We remember.. the ultimate sacrifice paid by so many....

We remember... freedom isn't free.
To the veterans who are still living... I thank you for your service. And, to the families mourning loved ones who sacrificed their all for my freedom.... Please know, we remember.
