Weekend Reading.

This week was nice. I was able to see a lot of friends. The sort of friends you can just be real with and don’t have to be “on” around. I also did a bunch of work, went to some fun previews blog events, etc. and so on and so forth. Nothing particularly interesting, but still nice. This weekend is going to be super low key. Today is my cousin’s wedding shower in New Jersey. Otherwise, I plan to work out, go see Cinderella, and do a little cooking (this weekend’s project: healthy Chicken Tikka Masala with my slow cooker!) Yum. And let’s just hope the weather turns around… yesterday’s snow was nuts!

Favorite things from this week:

Last summer, my gold birkenstocks were my absolute favorite sandals… but they sold out so quickly! They’re in stock now in J.Crew, though already selling out.

I read a lot of style blogs for work. You know this. So I get excited when I find one I really love. Meet Little Blonde Book. Taylor has such great style and always seems to be somewhere beautiful.

Also on the new blogs to bookmark list: one of my best friends in the world, Aly, started a blog! Meet Darling Edna – musings on life, motherhood, recipes, and healthy living. So proud of her.

I did a little Spring shopping… picking up this top these matching shorts! Love a great twin set… (I also love this one (top // skirt) the flippy skirt is so cute.)

Felicia had some really amazing tips for those of us (hand raised) that could stand to be a bit more assertive. Also from Felicia: why the cult of busy is probably killing you.

I’ve always been fascinated by Martha Stewart, so naturally I loved her profile over on Into the Gloss.

For the bloggers who are reading this: I’m working on improving my WordPress skills, and found this advice really helpful!

The perfect (under $100) black blazer.

And how fun are these sandals? Love them in blush.

I’m obsessed with this chic look on Anna. The trench, the red lip, the sleek hair – perfect.

(And on the topic of red lips, I’m loving this sheer one!)

We’ll end on a funny note. Did you see Will Ferrell as Little Debbie? (Little… not L’il!) I can’t. I laughed so hard.
